Boston’s Mysterious Playmate.

  • First Annual Boston Scavenger Hunt!

    Saturday, June 28th, 12:50PM
    Launch Location: Boston Common

It is with pride that Banditos Misteriosos announces the First Annual Boston Scavenger Hunt!

These type of scavenger hunts have been done on smaller scales in other cities, but Boston is ripe for this type of huge event!
    ————–

    When: Saturday, June 28th, 12:50PM - 4PM.
Where: Meet up at the fountain near Park St Station at Boston Common
    Exact Location – http://tinyurl.com/69a4zp

    Overall Details:

The details are quite straight forward!

This will be a photo scavenger hunt, as in all teams will take pictures to prove that they completed an item on the given list. Besides that, there really are no rules! All the items on the list exist within less than a 5 mile radius starting location, so there is no need for alternative transportation. You will be able to complete all the missions by mere foot work!

Teams: Team size will be created based on overall turnout. Bring your friends, we won’t be seperating people, but will make up larger teams so that everyone has the chance to meet others and work together.

List: The list will be handed out right at the start of the event. It will consist of people, places, situations and some other random fun mysteries…

Necessary Items: If you have a digital camera, please do bring it! Besides that, bring your cell phone, for we will be contacting groups throughout the event. (Maps are also quite useful…)

Judging: At 3:30, all participants will be notified via text messages of where the judging station will be located. Groups will then have 30 minutes to get to the final location, where we will have a panel of judges to count the amount of items each team has achieved in picturing.

Boston is loaded with rich history, places, and people. Here’s your chance to run around this city with abandon!

*Please try to get there by 12:50 so we can get all the teams created and start the event on time! If you arrive late, it might be harder to set you up with a team!

  • International Pillow Fight Day Recap!

On March 22nd, 2008, Boston was invited alongside 21 other cities to participate in International Pillow Fight Day. Over 600 brave souls, some traveling all the way from California, showed up in Copley Square, in a somewhat stealthily fashion, armed with pillows to do battle. Flags waved. Pillows exploded. Feathers flew.
